Loppi

Site Loppi was one of Univeristy of Helsinkis pilot areas in Finland. This site was included late in the project. The main contaminants are oil hydraocarbons and volatile organic compounds (VOC).

​Gasoline, diesel and fuel oil have been stored and distributed at the site for many years. All fuels were stored in underground tanks. The site belongs to a classified groundwater area.

In situ tests have been made using injections of hydrogen peroxide.
